吉林省拥有得灭独特的旅游资源，目前正处于初步开发阶段．但由于开发利用不当，使一些旅游资源浪费．生态环境遭到破坏，在一定程度上影响了旅游业的发展．２００１年６月２７日吉林省人民政府作出了《关于加快建设生态旅游强省的决定》，并对吉林省的旅游管理体制实行重大改革，力争使吉林省的旅游资源得到充分的开发和利用，使吉林省旅游业再上一个新台阶．本文详细阐述了吉林省的旅游现状、开发优势及突破口．

Jilin Province owns its natural and specially wonderful tourist resources which is being developed in its primary stage. However, Some tourist resources were corrowly wasted and the ecological environment was badly destroyed for the unlawful and rude exploitation which in certain degree influence the development of tourism. On June 27, 2001,(A Decision on Quickening Construction of Eco-tourist Strong Province) was made by the people's government of Jilin Province. At the same time, It also made a significant reform on the tourist managing system in Jilin Province in order to exploit the tourist resources rationally and effectively and also wished to lead the tourism of Jilin Province to a new stage.
