Chinese classical poems and lyrics lay particular stress on creating a charming and unique image which combine describing natural scenery and commenting past affairs with expressing personal feelings and wills. To transmit the images of poems and lyrics completely and properly in translation, proper methods should be taken according to different styles of those poems and lyrics. Mr. Xu Yuanchong's three methods of transmission are adequate and can make the translation smooth and beautiful.
