The structures and theory of the Pair Crossed Rolling Mill (abbr. PC mill) and the On-ling Roll Grinder (abbr. ORG) equipment provided with the PC mill in the 1580 mill of Baosteel are systematically introduced. From the factory practices, it is given of the production status and questions of the PC mill. Finally, it is proved that the PC mill is better then the CVC mill in facts of the shape control and productive capacity.
