“石鱼出水兆丰年”虽然是民间传说,但它反映了涪陵人民的精神风貌,创造了涪陵白鹤梁石鱼文化,在涪陵特色文化体系中占有极为重要的地位,并因之使涪陵荣升为中华“文物大邦”。

Though the saying 'the emergence of stone fish portends a prospective year' is merely a myth, it is a reflection of the spiritual style and feature of Fuling people who created Beiheliang stone fish culture which holds a very significant position in Fuling's local cultural system and enables Fuling to become a 'state of cultural relic' in China.
