An Exploration of the Intellectuals' Access to Official Career in Early Han Dynasty

士人是我国封建社会的坚强柱石,入世与出世构成了士人文化的主体。其中,官本位文化衍生出士人的传统心态与价值观念,促使士人以入世为重。因而,对士阶层进行追根溯源的探索,分析汉初士人入世环境,可以深刻揭示他们的入仕心态及其仕路与仕途的遭遇。

Intellectuals were the backbones of Chinese feudal society. Their access to and departure from official positions were the subjects of intellectual culture,in which the official centered culture evolved the intellectuals' traditional mentality and value, and added to the importance of official career in their life. The exploration of intellectual class and the analysis of the environment help disclose the intellectuals' mentality and the experiences of their access to official career.
