本文介绍了我国高功率CO_2激光器发展的三个阶段;讨论了激光光束质量对激光材料加工发展的重要影响;最后对高功率CO_2激光器进一步的发展提出了几点看法。

In the paper have been introduced three progresses stage in the development of high power CO2 Lasers; have been discussed the beam quality of high power CO2 Lasers to important influence of the laser material processing; some points of view for the furture development of high power CO2 Lasers have been preposed.
