The paper gives an introduction to the emergency treatment and extinguishment precautions for the gas leak and fire on pipelines and equipments in coke-oven gas production process.In the light of the physio-chemical and burning properties of coke-oven gas, the risk analysis and the feasible countermeasures against gas accidents have been made.
