日本的合纤产品开发工作正转向基础领域,除了纤维阶段的开发以外,结合织造和染整技术的综合开发越来越显得不可或缺。尖端产品是生产和开发的主流,大路常规产品的生产已转向海外。文章介绍了2001年及2002年日本开发的部分合纤新产品。

Japanese synthetic fiber producers are moving the developmentof their products toward the basic area. They carry out integrateddevelopments closely connected with weaving and dyeing &finishing technologies in addition to developments at the fiberstage and they have strengthened the shift to sophisticatedproducts while transferring the production of commodity itemsto their overseas subsidiaries. The article gives some samples ofnewly developed Japanese synthetic fibers announced in 2001(partially 2002) mainly for apparel.
