The rapid detection of molten aluminum quality plays an important role in aluminum alloys casting.A theoretical study of liquid metal has found that the electrical resistivity has great relationship with determining the grain size and eutectic structure of aluminum alloys.This paper discusses a system for measuring the electric resistivity of molten aluminum by using electrical eddy current transducer.The schematic hardware diagram and software are also presented.
