Described generally are the composition of the new generation locomotives and rolling stock in Russia as well as the new design thoughts,the comprehensive application of the automatic system in designing,the improvement in overall arrangement and various performances of the new locomotives and rolling stock.In the mean time,the development of the ЭД6 type power bogies for EMUs,the condition of the electrical equipment as well as the modularized structure design and reliability design principles are introduced.
