略论高校院系图书资料室的生存与发展

Existence and Development of Specialized Reference Rooms in Colleges and Departments in Universities

当前高校院系图书资料室面临着功能弱化、经费困难、机制不活、利用率低、情报开发欠缺等方面的问题。院系图书资料室应尽早完善今后的功能作用与定位 ,首先是拓宽服务内容 ,其次要树立以人为本的思想观念 ,依靠广大教师参与管理 。

Some difficult positions at present faced by specialized reference rooms in Colleges and Departments: functional weakness, funds shortage, mechanical inflexibility, a lower library utilization ratio, inefficient in information exploration, etc. In order to survive and develop, these reference rooms must open up service contents and items, establish the user oriented and user centered idea. For improving their service, specialized reference rooms should attract teachers to participate in their management, in order to service the main subjects and disciplines in the colleges more efficiently.
