The linear feed systems for High Speed Cutting machines are introduced, including the elec-tromechanical servo linear axis and direct drive with linear motors in relation to their construcions, principles of operation, accuracy and performance requirements and use range. Also the improvement as well as enhancement measures are analyzed.
