摘要
提出一种把特征面表示转换成特征体表示的新方法 ,该方法首先利用特征面表示的几何信息与拓扑信息对相交特征的边界进行恢复 ,并对相关特征面进行适当的延拓构造特征的壳体 ;然后根据特征的加工顺序 ,用特征壳体逐次分割毛坯去除体 ,进而得到加工特征体表示。这种方法对任意类型的特征均可统一处理。
This paper presents a new approach to the generation of volumetric feature based on feature faces. In the new approach, geometric and topological representations of feature faces are firstly used to recover the boundaries of the intersection features, and to construct shell body of a feature by extending the relevant feature faces appropriately, then the shell body of the feature is adopted to split the delta volume little by little in accordance with the manufacturing sequence of the feature, and finally a volumetric feature is generated. The proposed approach is independent on feature type.
