摘要
生活方式是人类由荒蛮不断走向文明的一个历史性演化过程,人的思维与人所使用的工具之间的互动是达至这一演化的决定性力量。生活方式的转型往往隐含或预示着广泛而深刻的社会变迁,对此,教育在培植进步的文化观念、导引社会生活的走向以及提高人们驾驭新生活的能力等方面负有不可推委的责任,这在客观上要求广大教育工作者必须对生活方式转型的涵义、民族的文化情结、受教育者的本体地位以及资本主义的文化性格等方面的问题有着较为清晰的认识,并形成新的职业观念。
The mode of human life is the historical evolution from savagery to civilization, the decisive force of which is the interaction between thinking and tools people use. Extensive and profound social changes are always hidden in or predicted by the transformation of living mode, in which education is responsible for training advanced cultural ideas, guiding social life and raising people's ability of steering new life. This, objectively, requires that educators have a clear understanding of such matters as the implication of transformation of living mode, love for the culture of a nation, subject status of persons being educated and cultural character of capitalism, hence forming a new vocational idea on this basis.
