V240ZJ6E diesel engine is a new kind of high power diesel engine,which can be used in high power shunting locomotive.The general constructure,the main characteristics and its main technic parameters are all presented.The bench test result shows that 12V240ZJ6E diesel engine has good economy and lower smoke level.
