This paper introduces design methods for PLC sequential control ladder with STL and RET instruction,and in troduces the design method of PLC sequential control ladder diagram for the system with five operation models (manual?one cycle?continue?one step and automatic return to initial state).These methods are very regular and easy to learn,the program designed with the method is shorter,it can be used for any PLC, a lot of design time can be saved for complex system with the method
