This paper deals with the Genetic Algorithm (GA) based optimal design of the microwave devices. As example, the CAD of multi-port waveguide branch-bridges with arbitrary power distribution ratio is given in detail, demonstrating that the GA is a favorite and flexible optimization policy to the CAD of the complex microwave devices.
