My Opinions to Create Modern Architecture with "West Distinctive Local Features

创造具有“西部特色”的现代化建筑也要着眼于西部品目繁多的中小型建筑.本文指出了西部建筑的特色,既崇尚实用与功利,又表现了民族性和宗教性对其的强烈影响。提倡大家共同探索,通过形成一定数量规模的建筑作品来展现建筑的“西部特色”。最后提出了“西部特色”现代建筑应是传统与外来、民族文化与宗教文化交融的结合体,并着重分析了“西部地方特色”之一——伊斯兰教特色的形成和发展。

There are manifold middle and small sized west buildings which should be considered while creating modern architecture with 'west distinctive features ' .This article points out the features of west architecture——not only advocating pragmaticalness and utility ,but also expressing national and religious influence.It is promoted that we explore in concert to emerge 'west distinctive features'of architecture through forming certain quantity and scale of buildings.At the end , the writer advances that modern architecture with 'west distinctive features' should be the combining-body of traditional culture and exteral religion cultre, furthermore the writer analyses emphatically the formation and development of Islamic feature-one of the west distinctive local features.
