An Informal Discussion: Researches in Economics

本文评介了当代经济学研究领域的拓展,提出经济学不只是研究资源配置,而且还着力研究或者交换关系、或者人的行为、或者制度环境,分析了研究的不同视角;经济学研究有不同的方法,也有共识的原则,应注意非均衡研究;在公平与效率的价值判断中,要把握公平与效率的不同含义。

This paper makes a comment on the expansion of research areas of contemporary economics, and advances that economics is not limited to the study of resources allocation, but also concerned with exchange relationships, human behaviors and institutions. In this paper, different study perspectives are analyzed. Although there are different methodology in conducting economic researches, some common principles do exist. A special attention should be paid to the study of disequilibrium. When judging equality and efficiency, the different meanings of equality and efficiency have to be identified.
