描述了ASP的工作原理及ASP的内置对象和组件 ,着重讨论了ASP的数据库组件ADO组件。并介绍了Office 2 0 0 0发布的WebComponents组件和其中的OfficeSpreadsheet,Of ficeChart组件。在此基础上给出了用ASP和MicrosoftOfficeWebComponents相结合访问Web数据库的应用实例。
Firstly, review the ways to visit web database, the principle, internal objects and module of Active Server Pages (ASP). And then pay much attention to Active Data Object (ADO), which is the accessing database module of ASP, and the spreadsheet and chart, which are two web components of Microsoft Office. Finally, a Web database application sample using ASP and web components is given.
