Ecological Analysis of Summer Avian Community in the National Natural Reserve of Meihua Mountain

夏季在梅花山国家级自然保护区共遇见鸟类 6 6种 ,隶属于 11目 2 5科 .其中 ,东洋界鸟类占 82 % ,古北界鸟类占 12 % ,广布种类占 6 % .留鸟占 86 % ,夏侯鸟占 14% .黄腹角雉 (Tragopancaboti)、白鹇 (Lophuranycthemera)、褐翅鸦鹃 (Centropussinensis)等珍稀鸟类主要生活于远离人居的常绿阔叶林中 ,因此 ,减少人为干扰和保护常绿阔叶林植被对珍稀鸟类的生存尤为重要 .文章还讨论了不同海拔对鸟类分布的影响 .

species of birds,belonging to 11 orders and 25 families, were found in the National Natural Reserve of Meihua Mountain during summer. 82% of the bird species belong to Oriental realm, and 12% are Palaeoarctic, and 6% widespread. 86% and 14% of the bird species are residents and summer visitors respectively. The rare birds, Yellow bellied Tragopan( Tragopan caboti ), Siliver Pheasant (Lophura nycthemera ) and Common Coucal (Centropus sinensis )are found in evergreen forest far away the village, suggesting that reduction of human disturbance and protection of the forest are most important for the survival of the rare birds. The relationship between the habitat altitude and the bird distribution is also discussed in this paper.
