本文报道了小花草玉梅变态花的形态特征及类型,指出,变态花是一定条件下的一种变异,由正常花到完全变态花之间存在着一个梯度系列,表明花的各部分都具有变态潜势并可变态为绿色叶状物,这与形态学中的“同源学说”是吻合的。

Morphological characters and types of metamorphosed flowers ofAnimone rivularis var. flore-minore Maxim. are reported. It is pointedout that metamorphosed flowers is a kind of variation under someconditions. There is a gradient series between normal flowers andholometamorphosed ones, which shows that every part of the flowerhas metamorphosed potential and can change into green leaf-like form.Above mentioned abservation coincides with 'homologous theory'.
