摘要
笔者通过对三十五名学生做的语用能力测试的结果进行分析发现，成人学生经过数十年的英语学习，掌握了一定的语言能力，但就语用能力而言，仍很薄弱，语用失误大大影响了交际效果，本文阐述了造成中国学生语用失语的主要原因以及教师在英语口语教学中培养学生语用能力的重要性及策略。
This paper explores the main reasons that lead to pragmalinguistic failure of Chinese English learners and the strategies that teachers can deploy in oral English classes, after analyzing the results of pragmatic competence test conducted by 35 trainee students.
