Based on steam turbine's basic working principle, we give the important conclusion that at the critical state, critical pressure is proportional to its critical flow and square root of initial temperature, which can be used to determine the turbine flow state of off design condition. It not only simplifies the calculation of turbine off design, but also riches the turbine off design theory. Refs 3.
