hexazatricyclo[8.4.0.0 3,8]tetradecane is synthesized from formamide and 2,3-bishydroxylpiperazine that is the condensation product of ethylenediamine and glyoxal. The total yield of 2,4,7,9,11,14-hexazatricyclo[8.4.0.0 3,8]tetradecane is 51% by optimizing the reaction conditions (time,temperature,solvent etc.).
