The situation of China dyestuff manufactures and import and export in 2001 was reviewed in this paper. In 2001, the output of dyestuffs and pigments are 237. 4 and 74. 6 thousand ton respectively. The import and export volume of dyestuffs and pigments are 228 and 99. 6 thousand ton respectively, which rose by 1. 37% and 0. 63% each than in 2000. The author posed his own opinions according to the investigation and analysis of the relevant materials and professional situation.
