The production of Methyl Methacrylate Grafted Starches

采用KMnO4/H2C2O4氧化还原引发体系作为引发剂实现了甲基丙烯酸甲酯在玉米淀粉上的接枝共聚,此浆料很有可能部分取代PVA作为疏水性纤维纱线的上浆用浆料。

This paper first reports the graft polymerization of methl methacrylate (MMA) onto corn starch using redox system-potassium permanganate/oxalic acides initiator. Analysis has been done for the properties of the grafted starches with different graft ratios. The results show that the s-g-PMMA can partially replace PVA as sizing agents for yarns of hydrophobic fiber.......
