Human-Machine Information Relationship in C^3I Systems

摘要 美国人机工程专家Charles C.Wood给人机工程下的定义是:“设备设计必须适合人的各方面因素,使人在操作中付出的代价最小,获得的效率最高。”由此可见,人机工程研究的核心问题是人机之间的相互关系,也就是研究如何从人的生理、行为特性和机器特性出发,充分发挥人和机器的作用,以提高系统的效率。 It is all known that the mental workload of human being is limited, and when the limit is surpassed the efficiency of human's work will degrade. The case is the same for human information processing. The problem to be studied is thus arisen: how to assign the amount of information to each human information processor in various information processing situations in order to get the highest work efficiency. For solving this problem the characteristics of human information processing must be studied. An adaptive information channel model for human being is built by using the theories of stochastic process and communication channel. From this model the shape of the information channel characteristics curve for human information processors can be derived in a qualitative way . In order to make the applications of human information channel characteristics available another model based on queuing theory is proposed to derive a quantitative curve for the human information channel, the applicatins of above curve are discussed in practical situations in C3I systems.
