This paper discusses the four regional characteristics about the harvesting technology of double harvest rice, and different demands in the market. The present situation and developing tendency of combine harvesting machine in double harvest rice area in domestic and international are introduced. Four key technology points in designing new combine harvester clarified. The advanced and suitable production method for combine harvesting machine: a caterpillar track self propelled all purpose's chassis, and three types of harvesting machine parts; the head feed thresher,the whole feed thresher; the thresher before cutting, is listed. It also points its developing direction in the near future is also pointed out.
