摘要
移动性管理是移动通信技术中的一个关键问题,对于移动通信网络的性能具有决定性的作用。该文提出了一种在移动IP环境下的基于分布式注册服务器的指针优化策略,通过在路由器间建立并调整指针,跟踪移动节点的位置变化,使位置更新过程局部化,仅当连接请求到达时,才进行可能的对移动数据库的更新,从而减少网络中移动性管理的开销。该文中同时给出了指针优化策略的两种实现方案。
Mobility management is one of the key problems in the mo bile communication techniques.The performance of the mobile communication netwo rks depends heavily on the effectiveness of the mobility management.This paper proposes a pointer optimization strategy in the mobile IP networks,based on the distributed RSs.In our strategy,some pointers are constructed and modified by the RSs and routers,to track the location of the mobile node,and only when a connection request arrives,the possible update operations of the mobile datab ase are needed.Consequently,the access of the RS is limited,and the cost of t he mobility management is reduced.Two implement schemes are also presented i n the paper.
