80C196 single-chip microcomputer has itself many I/O functional components such as A/D converter,HSI,HSO and timer,this is its a distinguishing feature which is differences from other types of single-chip microcomputer.And because it is stronger in the data processing and more rapid in the running speed,it is very suitable for making up a data collecting and control system.This paper discusses the method of composing a digital measurement system of power network parameters,which makes use of the characteristic of 80C196 single-chip microcomputer.
