江苏油田苏北地区上部三垛组泥岩易吸水膨胀、分散,下部阜宁组泥页岩易吸水掉块垮塌,在钻井过程中时常出现缩径、起下钻拔活塞、下钻遇阻、大段划眼等复杂情况,影响钻井效益及井下安全。Coater乳液具有较大的分子量,一般为1000万-1500万,能有效地将钻屑包被好,有利于固控设备将钻屑清除。强力包被剂Coater提高了钻井液的抑制性,使泥岩的水化分散得到有效控制,钻井液性能稳定,处理剂加量少;井壁稳定性好,井径规则;更利于实现低固相和减少滤液侵入地层,保护油层效果好;Coater单独使用时钻井液滤失量大,泥饼质量羞,与PMHA-Ⅱ和FA-368复配使用后,钻井液性能较易控制,维护处理简单,膨润土含量低;Coater乳液直接加入钻井液申,利用率高,减少了浪费。
The formation in north Jiangsu is mainly consisted of shale and mudstone, and such problems as hole shrinkage, overpull and blockage during tripping, large section of reaming are frequently encountered. A strong coating agent of high molecular weight named COATER is developed, to effectively coat the drilling cuttings and thus good for the removal by solids control equipment. It also improves the inhibition of drilling fluid, by controlling the hydration and dispersion of shale. By using this additive, stable drilling fluid performances are maintained, and good borehole stability, small hole enlargement, regular borehole condition are achieved, and no long section reaming is required any more. At the same time, it minimizes the invention of filtrate into formation and is good for formation protection. Combination use of COATER with other mud additives such as PMHA-Ⅱand FA-368 can obtain better results, and use of it directly in the drilling fluid can improve its efficiency and is cost effective.
