The use of sheath estrusion technique in connection of both steel bars coated by epoxy resin and ordinary ribbed reinforcement is introduced and a comparison of technical parameters between the two sheath extrusion technical is given. The sheath extrusion technique optimized construction process in No.20 and No.21 base slab of Bachimen Super Large Bridge, and play a crucial role in preserviative treatment of steel bars.
