A novel heat resistant epoxy resin adhesive containing two curing agents was investigated. The main curing agent is 4(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phthalazinone(DHPZ) and the another is polyamide with low molecular weight (H-4).The structure of phthalazinone gives the adhesive a good heat resistant properties and good shear strength at 150 ℃.The ideal weight ratios of the adhesive was m (E44)∶ m (DHPZ)∶ m (H-4)=100∶40∶20,which was proved by IR spectrum and shear strength data.The effects of the surface treatment,the curing time and temperature,and the speading number on the shear strength were studied.
