Hypertension is a common, frequently encountered disease. It is the most common cause of the cerebrovascular diseases. This essay discusses epidemiology of hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases. It also probes the relationship between hypertension and lacuna infarct, hypertension and intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage. The diagnosis and prevention of the hypertension cerebrovascular diseases was discussed. Treating hypertension in the early period can be reduce the morbidity and disablement rate of the cerebrovascular diseases.
