摘要
采用钨离子束磁过滤技术 ,对引出的钨离子束中大颗粒离子进行过滤后 ,再注入和沉积到聚酯薄膜 (PET)表面 ,可获得抗磨损特性优异的沉积的金属钨膜 .扫描电子显微镜观察表明 ,大颗粒已被过滤 ,表面结构致密 .测量表明 ,镀膜的硬度、弹性模量和抗磨损特性得到了很大的提高 ,与基体的黏合特性有了明显改善 .
Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has been modified by W ion deposition using a metal vapor vacuum arc(MEVVA) source. The adhesion of metal coating on polymer is very strong. The thickness of the deposited metal coating could be controlled from tens nm to 1 μm. The hardness and modulus for thick W deposited PET is 2.54 and 7.38 GPa respectirely, which are obviously greater than that of PET. Wear resistance increases 8~10 times. It is believed that the metal ion deposition technology is an advantage technology for the improvement of the conductive properties and wear resistance for polymer.
