基于动态负载平衡的分布式视频点播系统

摘要 现在,大多数多媒体的应用都是基于Client/Server通信模式的,用户通过高速的网络访问媒体服务器上的媒体信息,这就需要一种通用的系统平台来负责管理用户对媒体服务器的访问,以达到系统资源充分利用。本文所提出的系统平台正是基于这个目的,它采用动态负载平衡的方法,对用户访问多媒体服务器进行有效的管理,从而达到系统资源最有效的利用,系统访真结果表明,它在用户拒绝率、用户平均等待时间等方面的性能都优于传统意义上的视频点播系统。 The majority of multimedia application are based on a client/server communication model. Users may access to multimedia information through high speed network, This needs a generic system platform to manage the user access to multimedia while optimizing resource utilization. The system platform proposed in the paper are based on the purpose .It adopts a method of dynamic-load-balance which manages the user access to multimedia efficiently while optimizing utilization system resource. The result of system simulation shows that it is better than the classical Video-on-Demand(VOD) system in refuse rate and the average time of waiting
