Rabbit eye sensitivity test to chitosan

目的 观察家兔眼睛接触壳聚糖液所产生的刺激反应。方法 按照国家颁发的眼刺激试验标准进行。结果 4只家兔给 1%壳聚糖液及 0 .5 %醋酸液后 6、2 4、4 8、72h至 7天 ,观察每只家兔的眼角膜、虹膜、结膜均无异常发现 ,眼刺激反应评分为 0 ,眼刺激程度评价为无刺激性。结论

Objective To test the stimulating action of chitosan on rabbit eye.?Methods The test was carried out according to the national standards.1% chitosan and 0.5% acetic acid were separately dropped in the eyes of 4 rabbits to observe the reactions in the cornea, iris and conjunctiva 6, 24, 48 and 72 h and 7 d later.?Results No abnormal findings was noticed in any of the 4 rabbits, the eye sensitivity test was scored 0 point.?Conclusion 1% chitosan solution is unirritating to rabbit eye balls.
