Purpose To discuss the significance of the quality control in after-treatment of CT images. Materials and methods There are 497 bad films produced in CT examinations that were collected to analyze the causes of the poor outcomes. Results The waste film rate was up to 1.41 %, amounting to 14,910 yuan. The main causes are: ①the lack of responsibility and ②the skills of the technicians. Conclusion More attention should be paid to the level of training and the quality control in after-treatment of CT images.
