从甘肃河西地区农业的实际出发 ,结合毛苕子的生物学特性、本区落后的畜牧业发展状况及毛苕子的国内外市场前景 ,分析了在本地区大力发展小麦复种毛苕子、种草养畜发展畜牧业的必要性及可能性 ,指出小麦复种毛苕子是实现本区农牧并举、促进农业可持续发展的重要途径。

According to the biological characterstics of Vicia villosa,its marketing situation at home and abroad,and current situation of animal husbandry development in the irrigated farming area of Hexi,the possibility of multi-cropping Vicia villosa after wheat to raise livestock was analyzed.Multi-cropping Vicia villosa after wheat was a potential way to boost both agriculture and amimal husbandry as well as to contribute to development of sustainable agriculture in this area.
