Synopsis This paper analyses the cause of frequent failure of natural gas well tube by means of grey correlation theory.It showed that the corrosion and impingement corrosion were the main causes for the tube failure.This conclusion has been proven by X-ray electron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction test results.
