2001年三季度银行间外汇市场成交量稳步增长,供大于求差额逐月扩大,人民币汇率稳定;9月21日交易中心推出新版外汇交易系统,银行间外汇市场运行正常,交易顺畅,清算及时。国内经济保持快速稳定增长,国际突发事件和中国大陆完成所有"入世"谈判的消息对国内银行间外汇市场没有直接影响。
In the third quarter of 2001, trade volume on China interbank forex market grows steadily, the excess of forex supply over demand expands month by month, and the RMB exchange rate remains stable. With the introduction of a new trading system on September 21 by CFETS, the China interbank forex market functions properly, deals are made smoothly, and funds settled on time. China domestic economy keeps on growing with a relatively high rate while the terrorist attack on U.S.A and the news that China has successfully concluded negotiations for entry into the WTO have no immediate impact on domestic forex market.
