The design process of ADSS cable is described in detail,and the calculation method to make the per- formance of ADSS cable suitable to the customer's order reguirements is presented.Based on our long term experi- ence the key points of ADSS cable m anufacturing are pointed out,and the analysis of these points is carried out.As a result the recom mended parameters for manufacturing process are given.Finally the m anufacturing and analytical software for ADSS cables,which is developed on the basis of design and manufacturing practice,is introduced
