地理信息系统专业教育的实践与思考

GIS Speciality: Teaching and Some Discussions

结合河南大学设置地理信息系统本科专业的具体实践 ,分析了集计算机技术、测绘科学、遥感、应用数学、信息科学、地球科学于一身的交叉学科——地理信息系统的应用领域、前景及其对社会经济发展的重要意义。探讨了地理信息系统专业人才的培养模式 ,提出了在加强基础理论教育的基础上 ,应加强专业素质教育 ,强调包括思想素质在内的综合素质培养。讨论了开展该专业教学的内容和方法 ,认为在教学中除采用课堂讲授、课后自学和讨论相结合的方式分别对重点和一般内容进行教学外 ,还应加强教学的实践环节 ,让学生参加一些初步的科研工作 ,以培养其科学研究的能力。最后就课程开设的顺序与衔接问题 ,在相关课程教学中融入 GIS空间建模和分析内容以及开展远程

Combining the practices of education, this paper analyzes the applying fields, foreground and important significance to social and economic development of setting up the geographic information system speciality, and discusses the educational pattern of GIS professional, namely on the base of strengthening basic theory education, enhancing accomplishment education of speciality teaching contents and methods are discussed. At the end of this paper, some considerations, such as the problems of curricula order and linkage, are shown up about the speciality education.
