摘要
目的 :观察急、慢性吸烟对外周血单核细胞分泌IL - 1β的影响。 方法 :采用酶联免疫吸附法检测两组样本外周血单核细胞IL - 1β的含量。 结果 :吸烟组无论在基线 (慢性吸烟 )还是急性烟暴露 1~ 5min后IL - 1β水平均高于非吸烟组。基线时吸烟组平均IL - 1β的水平显著高于非吸烟组 (P <0 .0 5 ,ANOVA) ,急性烟暴露后 ,两组IL - 1β的分泌均增加 ,对非吸烟组来说这种IL - 1β的升高是有意义的 (P <0 .0 5 ,配对t检验 )。结论 :急、慢吸烟可致单核细胞分泌IL - 1β增加 。
AIM: To study the effects of acute and chronic smoking on the secretion of IL-1β from peripheral blood monocytes. METHODS: Compare the smoking and non-smoking group's concentration of IL-1β by Enzyme Linked Immuno Assay (ELISA). RESULTS: The mean secreted levels of IL-1β in smoking group at baseline (chronic smoke exposure) or after exposure from 1~5 min in vitro smoke (acute smoke exposure) were consistently higher than those of nonsmokers. Specifically the mean values of IL-1β in smokers compared to nonsmokers were much higher at baseline( P <0.05, ANOVA), After acute in vitro smoke exposure, the secreted levels of IL-1β in two groups raised. These elevations were significant for IL-1β in non-smokers. ( P <0.05, t-test). CONCLUSION: Chronic and acute in vitro smoke exposure can raise the secreted levels of IL-1β by monocytes. It's possible that these elevations may contribute to the progression and severity of periodontal disease in smokers.
