A New Corn Variety-Jinyu No.46

津玉46由天津市农作物研究所玉米育种研究与发展中心(简称玉米中心)育成,组合为WJ202×丹340。该品种春播生育期125天。2000～2001年天津市春播区域试验平均产量8186.25kg/hm2,比对照农大108增产7.2%。试验表明,津玉46表现高产、稳产、农艺性状好、抗旱能力强,抗病性好。适宜天津市及其它地区春播或黄淮海地区夏播。种植密度45000～50000株/hm2。制种时父母本同期播种,父母本比例为1∶5或2∶8,制种产量可达4500kg/hm2以上。

Corn single-cross variety Jinyu No.46 was bred by inbred-line WJ 202(female) and Dan 340(male),made in the corn research center of Tianjin crop research institute.The growing period of Jinyu No.46 is 125 days in spring seeding.An average yield of Jinyu No.46 is 8 186.25 kg/hm2,7.2% higher than Nongda 108(ck) in the spring corn variety regional test of Tianjin in 2000～2001.The test result showed:Jinyu No.46 has the characteristics of high and stable yield,good quality,multi-resistance,wide adaptation and great potentialities.Jinyu No.46 is suited for spring sowing in Tianjin and other spring corn regions,and for summer sowing in Huang-huai-hai area.The plant density is 45 000～50 000 seedlings/hm2.When seed propagating Jinyu No.46's female and male were sowed mean while and their line proportion is 5 ∶1 or 8 ∶2.
