Pseudomonas jinanesis vaccine in the treatment of malignant tumor in 57 patients

本文报告57例恶性肿瘤病人(男31例,女26例,年龄56±11yr)注射济南假单胞菌苗(PJV)1-2mL/wk(2-4mg)能提高晚期恶性肿瘤病人的淋巴细胞转化率,经统计学处理有非常显着性差异,巨噬细胞吞噬试验升高也明显多于未升高者。PJV能使癌性胸腹水吸收或减慢生长。PJV局部注射于体表肿块可使肿块缩小。治疗剂量PJV对心、肝、肾功能均无损害,部分病人于注射后发热,但加用吲哚美辛可减轻反应。

Pseudomonas jinanesis vaccine (PJV) was one of the new bacterial strain discovered by Chinese scientists. PJV was a heat-treated Pseudomonas first introduced in the treatment of malignant diseases in China. Fifty-seven patients (M31, F26, Age 56±11yr) with malignant tumor treated with PJV were studied. Intramuscular, in-traperitoneal or intrapleural injection with PJV l-2mL (2-4mg) once weekly caused complete and partial alleviations in 2 out of the 3 malignant ascites patients and in 7 out of 10 malignant pleural effusion patients. PJV inhibited the tumor growth following peritumor injection and raised lymphocyte transformation rate. There were adverse effects of fever and focal inflammatory reaction at injected sites, but in-dometacin relieved these reactions. No cardiac, nephritic and hepatic toxicity reactions were seen.
