Ji Xianlin has his own conception of prose.The wisdom of Taoism,positive factors of the idea of 'Shi',and the 'Affinity between Nature and Man' are all included in his works.His prose inherits and develops the classical Chinese aesthetic,brings the delicacy of construction ,the beauty of rhyme and the brevity of language into full play.
