In the statistics circles, there are a few uncertain points in the exposition on the concept of average norm, mathematical statistics as well as its applied analysis. This paper intends to redefine the concept of the average norm, elaborate the difference between statistic average and mathematic average, and further clarify the applicative situations of mediate average.
