On Chinese Traditional Moral Educational Thought

本文通过对中国传统道德教育思想的考察,总结了以培养“圣人”为目标、以“修身齐家治国平天下”为内容、以“天人合一”为最高境界,以否定人欲鄙弃功利为本质的中国传统道德教育思想的特点,并结合当代我国社会道德教育、特别是学校道德教育的现状,阐述其借鉴意义。

The article summarizes the characters of Chinese traditionl moral educational thought, such as cultivation 'sages' as target, 'self - cultivation, homemaking, running the country will and giving the people peace and security' as content, 'integrity of heaven and man' as supreme realm after reviewing theChinese traditional moral educational thought. It animadverts on greed and utilitarilnism as essence, andcombines the pressnt social moral educational situation in China, expecially the moral educational situ-ation in schools. It also elaborates on the practical significances of Chinese traditional moral education nowadays.
